It feels good to dust off a few canvases and open up some acrylic paints that have been wasting away in your basement. It's been so long since I've done a good wholesome project I almost forgot the thrill of making something crafty. How embarrassing.
I fell in love with this wall art form Dwell Studio, but wasn't willing or able to fork over the green. It seemed like a pretty straightforward project. A brown and green palette fit Sawyer's room a little better, so we changed up the colors.
The canvases now reside above the crib and hopefully can give the poor boy something to look at when he's daydreaming in his bed. It's a step up from the plain old beige wall that was completely uninspired. They may not be originals, but they were made with love. And were a heck of a lot cheaper. HECK of a lot.
