Mommy!

Today is my mom's birthday. I can't even attempt to write anything that would even come close to doing justice to the woman my mother is. With great joy and perseverance she has dedicated her life to our family...to my dad, to my brothers, and to me and my sister. By her example, she has shown me what it is to be a woman of faith, patience, self-reliance, love, character, and spunk. Anyone who knows her will agree that she's unlike anyone else in the world. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about how much she means to me.

My mom loves people. She loves God. She loves fixing things. She loves being silly. She loves hard work. She loves trivia. She loves my dad. She loves plants. She loves being with me. She loves honesty. She loves life.

Happy Birthday, Mom... I hope you know how much you are loved today!

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Ondrey! FYI - your advice is a large part of the reason why I'm pursuing a career in social work. I appreciate the little time that I've gotten to spend with you!
