As of a couple months ago, we've got a walker! Our boy was in no rush to get on his two feet, but he's making up for lost time and is all over the place these days. During one of his first, longer jaunts a couple months ago, this happened.
Poor kid! I'm not one for parading your children's embarrassing videos online for the world to see, but I felt like this was too funny to keep to myself. After a few tears, he was right back up, walking, and trying to find and play with the furry offender.
Marshall is my brother and sister-in-law's puppy and he and Sawyer are becoming fast friends, despite their run-ins. Sweet little guy!

Still as funny as the first time I saw it. The world is a better place because you shared this video!
Cute video...he and the pup are going to be best friends I'm sure...
Have a lovely day!
Sarah, that is hilarious! Glad Sawyer wasn't hurt. Your reaction at the end is great too. I need to update my vimeo site, it's been way too long and I have way too many videos.
Just adorable Sarah! Your little boy, the puppy and the crash!
hope you are all doing well :-)
Oh man...I love the moment just before Marshall plows him down. He can see it coming, but there's no escape! Sweet boy.
This video gets me every time. I love it! Poor Sawy. So glad they are becoming friends these days :)
If you pause the video and watch it in slow motion (pressing the right arrow), it's crazy how far back his feet go past his head!
Sarah, I just caught up with you via blog! It's hard to believe how much Sawyer has grown up...the "big boy" haircut, the walking, the dog interaction, camping, etc. He sure is adorable!!
Congrats to you on the published book!!! I think I'll need to order it for CMPL, and then you can come and have a "signing" and we could serve punch and cookies and talk about the old times before you were famous....
Steve starts crying with laughter every time he even thinks about this video. Funny to see it for myself after the urban legend it's become in our household! Glad Sawyer was okay. :)
That is a funny video and I'm glad he wasn't hurt, or scared of the puppy afterwards. We have a lab puppy that is a year old, and I've been afraid to have him off leash around small kids just for this reason. This video is pretty much what I see happening. lol
Wow! Well if it had to happen, it's good you caught it on video! I feel bad laughing but...it was pretty funny!
Oh my! Poor little guy! I do have to admit I chuckled at that, we have had our share of doggie spills here too. I don't remember much of my boys first starting to walk, it seems that they were running only weeks after they were walking. :)
haha! i watched the video on mute at first and was snorting with laughter. then eric watched it with me - we are crying. thanks for posting. glad sawyer is resilient! :)
