I found a bouncer seat that was unoffensive to me on all fronts and snagged it up while supplies lasted from Target. There are so many that are too much of an eye sore for me to handle, but there are also a few that are very cool, modern types that are just too expensive or over-the-top simple/boring. Mark my words: baby paraphernalia will not dominate my life...or living room for that matter.

Amen, sistah! ( I like the bouncy seat - the elephants on it and the colors are a nice touch!)
Very cool and I love the elephant mobile!
This is the one I wish they had when I bought one the first time. I love the colors!
Good for you! You really don't have to let the baby stuff take over. Really, they don't need all of that crap ;)
Agreed. But I do have to say that the bouncy seat was one of those things we even decided was useful in a 700 sq ft house. That one is perfectly cute.
The reality is that you use baby equipment for a very short period of time. Borrow, hit the resale shops and really, really think if you will actually use it. None of it is permanent. Much if it will be used only a few times. And then, what do you do with it? A safe crib and a car seat (if you drive) are essential and will be well used. The rest is fleeting.

Nice find. Simple but stylish. So easy to go overboard when buying baby items.
Target has such an awesome selection now. Every time we go by the playpens I pine for the one with owls all over it. They didn't have that design when Scout was little damnit! The baby chair is too cute and it will be irreplaceable!
That one is REALLY cute. I'm with you, so much of it is over the top and the industry would have you believe you need every last piece of it.
We tried for the same. I was so overwhelmed with all the stuff I got for my baby shower that I actually returned most of it. You really don't need that much.
Is there a link for this seat? I love it!
