Ethiopia

This lovely lady hails from Ethiopia and was custom made for a coworker of mine whose friend is adopting a little girl from Africa. I hope that this princess dressed in her finest will be a dear friend to her for years to come!

I'm really tempted to have you make a little Danish boy doll. I know boys aren't as doll-oriented, but if the doll's a boy maybe?

I think I could figure out how to make a boy. Maybe have him be less round? You want one, Annika? I think Aksel needs a little Swedish girl to love.

I think Aksel would love one or two...I would pay money for them. What about a little swedish girl and a scottish boy? Like me and Luko. Love, Annika

She's so sweet. We have many friends that have adopted from there. One friend even one that made a documentary about/with the kids at the orphanage.

She's beautiful, and I love the pattern you chose for her dress. Nice work!

Hi!!! My daughter is the proud recipient of this fabulous doll! Makeda came home in July and is now 15 months old. Still too young to appreciate your fine handy work, "Desta" sits on her shelf next to all her books about Ethiopia and adoption. Thanks so much for making her! She will be well loved for many years!
xoxo,
Val (and Makeda!)
