Stay Toasty

I don't know when the last time I owned an official pair of winter boots was. Somehow I've managed to go through the past few winters in clogs, heels, or other forms of equally unreasonable footwear. I just had never found a pair of boots that I liked, boots that really struck a chord with me. (The same goes for an actual winter coat, but that's another sad story for another day.)

I found these gems and thought I would start December out right and invest in staying warm and dry this season. They say "sturdy and rugged, but a little feminine" to me. Here's hoping to a toasty winter.

there is a great swedish saying that says "there is never bad weather, only bad clothing" its so true, sometimes a good pair of warm boots makes you want to go outside in the cold. love them! happy winter!

Whereas my boots are terribly ugly, BUT they keep me from slipping on ice and they keep my feet warm and dry when I'm digging my car out of the snow. I just only wear them when I'm out and about, I change into real shoes if I'm going to be somewhere for awhile (like work, etc).

Those are so pretty! I think I need them. Where did you get them? That would be a good thing to put on my wish list for the gift giving idea challenged man in my life :).

Sweet!! Awesome boots. I LOVE boots. As you know, you have to love boots if you live in Buffalo.

So, you really think my mess is pretty!?! Hahaha.. Thanks. Maybe I would think it was prettier if it wasn't mine. :)
I really need to organize better.

Oh yeah, and lighting is key. We are going to get some recessed lights at some point. For now the crazy alien like lamp works great. Home Depot!

I need a serious new pair of boots. My trusty boots are years old now and I don't know how much longer they can be that trusty!
