CSA Week 9 and 11 | The Good Earth

Our CSA shares have become much more diverse over the last couple of weeks. Compared to the beginning of June when we were receiving lots of variations on greens, the good earth is now producing carrots, potatoes, turnips, beans, squash, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, garlic, basil...the list goes on. I just thought I'd share a little peek into our most recent deliveries.

I half expect a little bunny to walk into that first picture and steal a carrot.

Yum, my family would snatch all that up in a heartbeat. Happy cooking.

Have you ever read the book by the same title? It's rather sad, actually. Your blog is much more happy (and appetizing)!

Those are nice looking carrots (so short and stubby!) - when we got ours from our CSA this year, it was the first time I had actually had one that was only hours away from the dirt, and they were so, so good compared to supermarket carrots...like two different vegetables entirely.

We didn't get into our CSA soon enough this year - I'm totally going for it next summer. My gardening skills still need some work (and so we need some supplementation!).

I love your pics!
