Our fair city was hit with a lot of snow over the past couple of days, so over the weekend TK and Ben (his neighbor and fellow sportsman) took the liberty of building a ramp down the deck stairs, a quarter pipe against the garage, and a kicker in the middle of the backyard.
Using the ramp and the garage roof to get up speed, they snowboarded and skied (as much as one can in the city) for hours and hours...I love it when boys play outside!

I love it! Especially because I know so many people who pooh-pooh living in the city because you can't do as much as you might in more suburban or rural areas. Obviously those places offer more wide open spaces, but never discredit the power of an active urban imagination! :)
