Pardon my absence... last week I got ENGAGED!!! TK and I were having a great Wednesday night, taking a bike ride along the Lakeshore Path. We rode out onto the pier/breakwall at Montrose Harbor and were having a lovely time together. Any attempt on TK's part to encounter Spanish delights me to no end, so with this homemade shirt and some other kind words (in English), he asked me to marry him. (In the words of TK's sweet 5-year-old niece this was when he told me to marry him.) Never one to disappoint, he got me the most beautiful ring! I'm really at a loss for words on what to say... but I am a very happy and lucky girl! Can't wait to be lawfully-wedded to my man that I love so much. He's my best friend in the whole wide world and I'm so blessed to be able to spend the rest of my life with him!
