Caleb's Wedding

This past week we celebrated the marriage of my dear cousin Caleb Goble to his new bride Kristiana Durán. It would be an understatement to say that my immediate and extended family are a huge part of my life. My cousins and I (all 16 of us, between the ages of 27 and 16 among 5 sets of parents) have grown up spending Thanksgivings and summers together our entire lives and we are a tight-knit group. So, as the first of us to get married, this was a pretty big deal.

Caleb and Kristi rented out a camping facilty in Edgewater, MD for three days so that all of their family and friends could enjoy an extended wedding extravaganza. We had campfires, kayaking, swimming, camp food, and time to just relax and enjoy each other's company.

As the oldest 'boy' in our family, Caleb has been a leader who was always looked up to and respected. He has been - and continues to be - such a wonderful example of a servant and role model for our family. His dedication to God and family is unwavering, and I am honored to be a part of who he is and who he will become. Kristi is the essence of sweetness. She is the most kind and humble soul I have ever met. Her presence is a joy to all who meet her and she is a servant to the core. We are so excited to have Kristi as a new part of our family!

The collage-style photos of the wedding were fun to view. The whole wedding experience looked like such a good one!

And you and TK sure looked sweet together, too.
