If the Shoe Fits

Sawyer is movin' on up to some "real" shoes these days. When he was born, we indulged in the cutest Vans ever made and they did get their use over the last few months. How can you resist a sweet little baby in these bad boys?

Despite my best efforts to stop time and keep my baby a perpetual infant, growing feet call for larger shoes. Thanks to a good friend who let us borrow the kicks below, our little soon-to-be walker can keep stylin' and we can keep some cash in our wallets.

    Did TK just melt when he saw those? I seem to recall that those Vans were inspired by a certain pair of "slippers".

    You can actually get baby shoes pretty cheap. I check at Kohls when they are having sales or between seasons and just buy as many sizes as I can. I've never spent more than about $5 on a pair.

    Oh my goodness. Seriously. Adorable. I am about to pull out the 9 month clothes over here and was just looking forward to the surprises I have forgotten about. I'm not sure any of it is as cute as those shoes though. :)

    I actually owned adult versions of 3 out of 4 of those at one point in my life (my Chuk Taylor's wer pink). The baby versions are much cuter!
