Christmas Quilt

Something about being a mom convinced me that I needed to make a Christmas quilt for my growing family. You know, wrapped in it's warmth, sipping hot cocoa, listening to sounds of the crackling yule log on cable.

Usually, Christmas fabrics don't do it for me, but this line from Michael Miller couldn't be more full of classy yuletide style!

I did randomly colored wonky stars with a pure white background. I may or may not finish quilting this before Christmas...chances are very slim, but it IS the season of hope!

    i love this line, too, and am using it in my christmas quilt. i haven't got much, though. what i do have was sent to me by a friend. did you buy it this season, or is it all from your stash? if so, where did it come from?

    I'm in love with this fabric! I need to make a Christmas quilt, too. Maybe I'll find some of this on sale after the holiday and I can start it for next year. Love those liberated stars - they make me happy!

    Yes love this fabric line too, nice bright colours and not too Christmas novelty looking. Your stars really stand out against the white, greaat design choice! Good luck with quilting it on time!

    I totally agree about the Christmas Fabrics thing. But this line is cheery and seasonal without being too cheesy. And the way you've used it makes it all that much more tasteful. Great job. May your holiday be cozy and sparkly!

    i used these fabrics for a christmas quilt a year ago, but was a simple patchwork rag quilt. seeing your starts in these fabrics makes me want to do another!

    Wow, Julie! How beautiful! Did you finish it? Even if it's July (2015?) when you finish it, I hope you'll post a shot of the final shot. I forget that I learned how to quilt...and crochet. Sheesh, I gotta get back to being crafty. :) Thanks for the inspiration.
